Every job is vital to the success of camp! Camp NEOSA offers several positions to meet a wide range of skills and interests. In addition to on site job training, all staff receive certification in First Aid/CPR. Specialized positions also receive training and certification for their respective position.

Develop and operate a meaningful program in the area of archery geared to the interests, ages and abilities of the campers (to include archery instruction, set up and tear down of range, maintenance of archery equipment). Prepare and maintain the up keep of the archery range to include necessary supplies, and displays that will stimulate interest as an aid to teaching. Assist the Program Director with other camp programming as needed.

Develop and operate a meaningful program in the area of athletics geared to the interests, ages and abilities of the campers. Prepare and maintain the up keep of the athletics area to include necessary supplies, and displays that will stimulate interest as an aid to teaching. This includes the all athletics fields and courts on camp. Assist the Program Director with other camp programming as needed.

Develop and operate a meaningful program in the area of adventure geared to the interests, ages and abilities of the campers. Prepare and maintain the up keep of the ropes course to include necessary supplies, and displays that will stimulate interest as an aid to teaching. Assist the Program Director with other camp programming as needed.

Design and implement an appropriate Christian education program for campers that will help them learn more about Jesus and lead them to a better understanding of God's plan for their lives. This includes participating as a “character” or other leading roles in each applicable program. Responsible for organizing the Christian Education materials at camp and making the materials available to the staff members as they need them. Be available to the staff members as a resource person for helping to plan their cabin devotions and other programs that would require your help.

Provide spiritual leadership through setting a Godly example of Christ’s love. Provide emotional support as campers navigate a relationship with Christ and accepting Him into their heart. Demonstrate a positive attitude by encouraging camper participation in all programs through positive engagement, active involvement, and awareness of others. Demonstrate compassion by encouraging others in their day to day responsibilities and maintaining a positive attitude.

Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas including Front Office, Staff Lounge, Fellowship Hall, Dining Hall, and bathrooms. To oversee washing, storage, and care of cooking and meal utensils before and after each meal. To ensure trash cans are emptied and replaced with proper liners on a regular basis.

Supervise staff and campers in all waterfront activities including but not limited to swimming, boating, kayaking, pontoon boat rides, beach front games and fishing. Develop and operate a meaningful program in the area of waterfront geared to the interests, ages and abilities of the campers. Assist the Program Director with other camp programming as needed.

Perform daily checks of maintenance requisitions out of the camp office and handle those requisitions. Any major problems should be reported daily to the caretaker for proper handling. To assume responsibility for the proper care of all major equipment and vehicles, under the supervision of the caretaker. Participate in and help supervise campers during camp activities such as; Evening Programs, Carnivals and Sunday Worship Services.

Develop and operate a meaningful program in the area of nature geared to the interests, ages and abilities of the campers (to include flora and fauna, water life, astronomy, insects, animal life, etc.). Prepare and maintain the up keep of the nature area to include necessary supplies, and displays that will stimulate interest as an aid to teaching. Assist the Program Director with other camp programming as needed.

Oversee all healthcare aspects of the camp. To assist in the registration process, ensuring that each staff member and camper has a health history and examination form on file as required. To catalog all medical records according to cabin assignments and camp session assignments. Head nurse must at least be a Registered Nurse.

Take several photographs each day and upload the best 100 to the website for each week. Upload the best 100 of the summer to social media at the end of the summer. Produce a weekly video of camp highlighting key events and moments of the week and posting the video on the website via YouTube. This include Orientation and the end of summer Staff Video. Manage and maintain all sound and lights in Fellowship Hall, Camper Theater, Chapel in the Trees, on the hill and the traveling sound system including set up and tear down. To assist the Program Director and Program Assistant with Evening Program, clubs, and other camp programs.
